Beekeeping Course

We are pleased-No…We are excited-No…. WE ARE OVER THE TOP, JUMPING UP AND DOWN, TWIRLING OUR HIVE TOOLS, RUNNING  THROUGH THE BEE YARD, PUMPED ABOUT OUR FIRST EVER “ONE DAY BEEKEEPING COURSE”! AND IT’S FINALLY TIME TO SIGN UP!!!!!!

Here are the details:

Most important, the class will be held SATURDAY, MARCH 12, 8:45-4:00, AT HEBRON CHURCH. Put it on your calendar, right now. Don’t forget!

The cost of the class is $40.00 per person. However, if you’ve already paid your dues, it drops to the low, low price of $30.00 each.

Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be included.

A printed companion handbook will be provided, suitable for autographs.

First Lessons in Beekeeping, by Keith S. Delaplane will be included. This book is absolutely essential reading for new and established beekeepers alike. It’s also the textbook used when taking the written portion to become a Certified Beekeeper in the State of Georgia. And it’s FREE!!!

Catalogs and informational materials will be available from suppliers, both local (very important) and beyond.

AND, there will be door prizes and freebees, just for attending!!!!

Sign ups are still being accepted, either at the regular Beekeepers Club of Gwinnett meeting on Tuesday night, 2/9 or through mail. You’ll need to pay in full when you come, so don’t forget to bring your checkbook. We still have a limited number of seats available, and once they’re filled, registration will close. Don’t miss out on this first ever opportunity. You’ll be able to tell your grandchildren you were part of making history!!!
